The story
It started long before it became a business.
Before S&V had a name, it was simply how I showed up. I was the person people trusted with the thing that needed sorting: the event three weeks out, the plan with no owner, the idea that needed shaping. Organisation was never about tidiness for me. It was about care. About creating experiences people remember, and making sure the vision actually lands.
More than a decade across the NHS, the Civil Service, non-profit and community settings turned that instinct into a craft. I learned that the difference between a good idea and real change is rarely ambition. It's structure, clarity, and knowing who decides what. I've led national portfolios, strengthened governance for national networks, designed operating models for multi-stakeholder work, and built social-impact initiatives from zero to live.
I translate rough ideas into clear systems. I build the scaffolding around a vision so it can grow.
And yes... I'm the trip planner! You can turn up with just your passport and know you'll enjoy the journey. But I plan with flex: responsive, adaptable, and ready to pivot when life throws something unexpected.

Experience across four chapters
Civil Service
Governance, assurance and bringing senior leaders round the same table. I wrote three-tier pandemic-response procedures that worked from local right up to national level.
Community-led & social impact
Leading a national networks portfolio of 1,300 members across 12 board-level forums, growing engagement by 50% while keeping satisfaction at 98%. I also co-led the organisation's first Workplace Equity Workshop for 90+ staff (95% rated it excellent), and founded G1-28 CIC, mobilising the first community food-insecurity initiative in four weeks, with 200+ lives impacted since Dec 2025.
